Shuangxiandaban Fm
Type Locality and Naming
The type section lies ~20 km south of Shuangxiandaban, Duoma District, 380 km northeastern of Rutog County, Tibet. It was named by the Regional Geological Survey Party of Tibetan Bureau of Geology in 1987.
Lithology and Thickness
Limestone. A suite of littoral-neritic dark-gray thin- to moderately thick-bedded limestone, oolitic limestone, micritic limestone and clastic limestone intercalated with clayey limestone. 85−200 m thick.

Lower contact
Conformable contact with the underlying Yueyahu Fm
Upper contact
Conformable contact with the overlying Upper Carboniferous Qiatier Gr
Regional extent
Distributed only around Shuangxiandaban, Duoma District, Rutog County.
